If you're not seeing the iconic Sonic Youth at the Fox Theater on Sunday, I highly suggest seeing local icons Deerhoof at the Great American Music Hall as a pretty damn decent alternative. Compared to Sonic Youth, who've been around since before I was born, Deerhoof is the new kid on the block- yet I feel they're just two amazingly talented sides of the same experimental coin.
Deerhoof plays GAMH this coming Sunday, for a mere $16.00
