I think many people are surprised to find out that our friend Ian is a mad decent photographer. One thing I increasingly appreciate about his work is that there doesn't need to be pretty colors or a picturesque scene to inspire a shot- a tendency I've noticed about my own efforts.
Today, Ian's photography complements my mood- his work captures a kind of grittiness and desolation in a beautiful and quiet way. And, if anyone knows Ian, there seems to always be a touch of humor in it. It's true, the dude has a serious way of laughing at misfortune- and although somewhat disconcerting at times, his straightforwardness certainly commands respect.
