If this cold weather is getting you down, take shake it off with the Donnas tonight at the Blank Club in San Jo. The Donna's rock-'em shock-'em take on fem-punk rock harkens back to my high school days (when I actually listened to punk rock). And I can't help but love anything that reminds me of ditching school for the half hour drive to the coast in my beat up old Isuzu Trooper.
The Donnas will be accompanied by local electro-rock group Lilofee and pysch-punk outfit Vultures Await. Show starts at 9 pm, $18 at the door, 21+
